Does anyone else have issues with Claude Desktop and Claude Mobile usability?

- Desktop - This is on a powerful MBPro M1 btw but when I open a document that claude creates in a chat, it will take 12-15seconds for the preview panel to open with the document. - Desktop - If I click the "Copy" down arrow to select "Download" for the document, it will take no less than 15-20 seconds for the dropdown menu to even appear and then finally it recognizes I selected Download and then it shows the Save As dialog... No less than 20 seconds... - Desktop - when I open an existing chat, the chat will take at least 10 seconds before it's active... - Desktop - the Sidebar behavior is nearly as bad as the preview panel in the chat UI, it will take no less than 10 seconds for the sidebar icon at the top right to respond to a UI click event and eventually show the sidebar - Mobile - Even though I have the max "Max" plan at 200/month i'd say about 50% of the time, when I am sending text or voice transcription messages to mobile chat, it will just say Error - Start New Chat"... I'll then go back to my desktop, check my token budget for that chat and it's always 100K tokens or so remaining in the chat context window... I realize there's a bug apparently for this that's been filed but I've literally had new chats stop accepting input after I sent only 5 messages or so..
All of the above is with Sonnet 4.5 not Opus.... Opus is possibly smarter in the tests I've run but consumes tokens quickly and Sonnet seems to give me better, more thoughtful detailed analysis documents.
I'm doing sw dev with Claude and the Claude Code instances are the only ones I find even remotely usable on a daily, day to day usability perspective... But, when mobile doesn't show its bug, mobile will work fine and I prefer it for a long of in depth architectural reviews bc it's much faster than typing.
This is across system restarts, etc... and it's been this way since I started Claude a few months ago. So, it's not just an Electron issue / memory leaks issue / it's just how the electron app / web view apps are built... I completelly gave up on using Claude in the browser bc it would literally lock/freeze my tab when loading chats....
Does anyone recommend an alternative flow (use another AI mobile agent but have it write info to claude etc somehow) I built my own MCP server to help claude desktop see my code locally etc and that's nice and I can do some orchestration to some extent with Claude via local and remote MCP but without persistent memory context that's a truly limited capability....
The UX is so bad I will probably drop the UI apps altogether, am I the only one having these issues?
