It was this time around 3 years ago I bought an LED Steam Deck. To my surprise on the day I received my deck Valve released the OLED. I was completely shocked and wanted to return for an OLED. I looked at my packaging and thought, I struggled to get this. I even had delivered to a family member’s house who lives in the midlands country side. As I live in the city it is more likely to get stolen than in the countryside.
So I kept it for a year and read through reddit in the days when people were asking if it was worth swapping for an OLED. A lot of people said LED was fine which it was I even bought it on the plane with me.

Then when the year passed I decided to get an OLED 1tb. Now I have had this for a year and I still need to sell my LED or maybe I will keep it.
Since my ps4 broke (i smashed it, was going through a bad time) the Steam Deck has been my best friend. I wasn’t even considering getting a Steam Deck I didn’t even know what it was. I didn’t follow any updates. But when I got it, I play on the couch, I can play when family is around without having to hide myself in my room on a tv. I can watch netflix whilst playing a cosy game. I can take it anywhere I want to and it’s still the best gaming device I got since the 3ds handheld. Thank you valve for giving me back my fun.
