The Games Awards 2025 livestream airs tonight – or tomorrow morning, if you’re a Prime Meridian chump like we all are – and, like most forms of bewildering media, it’ll be best enjoyed together. We therefore invite you to join us for our liveblog coverage, which if you don’t have tickets yourself, promises to be the most up-to-the-minute source of game reveals and announcements that you can get without standing up against the theatre doors with a big cup to your ears. And Geoff hates it when people do that.
The main show begins at 12:30am GMT / 7:30pm ET / 4:40pm PT, with 30 minutes of pre-show beforehand. We’ll be covering the whole lot, which we know includes a new Tomb Raider reveal, a fresh look at a Resident Evil Requiem (possibly with grudging acceptance that yes, Leon is in it), and some manner of Marvel Rivals update news. To drift into the realm of speculation, there’s circumstantial evidence of a new Divinity game by Larian, while Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag remake mumblings are getting too loud to ignore. I personally hope we get a GTA 6 trailer that’s immediately followed by another delayed release date, ‘cos it’d be funny.
Whatever happens: livestream up there, liveblog down here. And remember: the typos are only because of the sleep deprivation.
