With over twenty years of writing and producing electronic music, London-based artist Sandro Ferro released in late November his new track “Going Wild”. It’s an energetic song that shimmers with human touch, adding elements inspired by nordic folk sounds and intense percussions. “Going Wild” swells with elastic instrumentations that stretch themselves over magnetic melodies and culminate into a feeling of pure, unadultered freedom.
Sandro does a fantastic job in setting the pace and tone of the track incredibly well, offering a landscape of possibilities and exploring each and every one of them to their fullest extent.
The woodwind instruments come in and out in the background adding a richness to the structure that is so inviting it feels like something you’ve already known all your life. It’s a dynamic track about embracing wildness and welcoming it with open arms, diving head on into whatever is in front of you and enjoying every second of it.
The lyrics of “Going Wild” paint a vividly cinematic portrait of the story, going from restraint to liberty in what feels like an easy scoop. It stands as a remarkably freeing experience that touches on themes of embracing oneself’s most unhinged desires. Sandro’s production is sharp and dense without ever getting overwhelming, capturing feelings of acceptance and ecstasy with childlike wonder and sounding like a true lifeline’s been thrown at you – there is no other option than to hold on to it and ride the wave as far as possible.

“Going Wild” also highlights Sandro’s unorthodox approach to dance music, crafting textures that feel organic and real with crisp precision and crystal clear intent. It sounds nothing like a typical dance track, and that is precisely why it’s so charming and bursting with life at every step of the way.
“This song has been lying around for a while, as initially the vocals were lagging the drive needed for the beat”, he says about the process. “On a recent business trip, I was tinkering around on the laptop whilst at the airport and finally got it right, so after another 2 days in the studio it was finally smashing”, he concludes, and you can definitely feel and hear that spark in the track itself.
It’s a breath of refreshing air tinged with the pure human desire to exist, making “Going Wild” a joyous and rewarding journey. Sandro’s music feels full and backed by so much history, adding layer upon layer of depth and meaning to every beat and word, turning it into an atmosphere that is highly celebratory and intoxicating.
