And all of these elements can be heard at once on the jawdropping “Stranded”, the first proper track after an introduction narrated by their own AI bot C1PH3R-IO, whose presence is sprinkled all over the album in verses and interludes.
The way the record manages to keep the listeners constantly anticipating its turns only to deliver them at the most unexpected times gives it an uncanny cinematic quality that the artists surf like a wave. It’s a complex project that extends far beyond the music itself: “This isn’t an album. It’s a 10-track origin story with an AI chronicler documenting the birth of underground infrastructure.
No one’s ever done this: chronicling the building of a revolutionary network WHILE building it”, the artist themselves say. “We’re not rapping about success we already achieved or fantasizing about future victories. We’re documenting the actual construction, brick by brick, failure by failure, breakthrough by breakthrough”.
This gives the project a grounded reality that makes it feel accessible and closer to its audience, providing a vulnerable and detailed account of their path as illustrated by highlight “Sands of Time”.

Cipher Chronicles slithers through dim grime and bright orchestral with relentless determination, providing atmospheres of moving melodies and fearless rapping with careful intention at every syllable.
