It all started with boids. Early in my game development career, I kept encountering the term "spatial partitioning." While researching game design patterns, I discovered Robert Nystrom’s Game Programming Patterns. A concise, web based book with a section on performance optimizations. That section covered spatial partitioning alongside topics like data locality and object pooling. I’ll return to those later, but for now, my focus remains on spatial partitioning.
