Temporal reversibility of a fluid mixture under concentration gradient (opens in new tab)

A binary fluid mixture in contact with lateral particle reservoirs is considered. By imposing different particle concentrations in these reservoirs, the system can be maintained under controlled non-equilibrium conditions.
