Motivated by experimental progress in pressure and strain tuning of quantum materials, we examine the thermodynamic response of frustrated magnets to uniaxial strain. Specifically, we study Ising and Heisenberg models on spatially anisotropic triangular (and, for the Ising model, also kagome) lattices.
