The Geometry of Sequential Learning: Lie-Bracket Prediction of Transfer Order (opens in new tab)

Sequential learning is order-dependent: from Pile-style next-token domain adaptation to instruction-SFT and DPO, N candidate sources induce N! possible curricula.
