Qualcomm announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire Modular, strengthening Qualcomm Technologies’ software foundation for generative and agentic AI across data center environments and on-device applications. With the acquisition of the Silicon Valley-based company, Qualcomm adds a world-class team behind Modular’s AI-native software platform and expects to accelerate adoption of its edge-to-cloud AI platforms by developers, OEMs, ODMs, cloud service providers, and model creators.
