Ex-La Carrera Panamericana, R-Style 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback 4-Speed (opens in new tab)

This 1965 Ford Mustang was built in Dearborn as a C-code 289 fastback. It was purchased by Gary Faules of California's Best Racing Team around 2004 and built into a R-style race car for La Carrera Panamericana. Faules and co-driver Jon Emerson then competed in the 2007 race wearing number 367, ultimately finishing ninth overall and third in the Histórica "C" class.
