Google I/O 2026 dropped a bomb on Android tooling, and nobody's talking about it (or maybe they are 😅) (opens in new tab)

This is a submission for the Google I/O 2026 wrapped on May 20 at the Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, and I've spent the last two days reading every blog post, watching every session replay almost but not all, and digging through the actual documentation. The headline everyone ran with was "Gemini Spark is your new 24/7 AI agent" and "Antigravity 2.0 built an operating system from scratch." Those are flashy. They make good tweets. But something much more interesting happened at this ...
