Meta is removing its "Your activity off Meta technologies" setting next month, replacing it with a narrower control that does not stop businesses from sharing your data — only from having it used to personalize your feed. The rollout excludes Europe, the UK, Brazil, South Africa, Nigeria, and South Korea, a list that tracks almost exactly where data regulators have punished Meta before.
