Clive Davis, the music executive who founded Arista Records and signed Bruce Springsteen at 22, discovered Whitney Houston in a New York showcase and launched Alicia Keys, died on June 22 at his Manhattan home. He was 94. Tributes poured in from across six decades of American music.
