France Confirms First Ebola Case as DRC Outbreak Crosses 1,000 (opens in new tab)

France confirmed its first Ebola case on June 24 after a doctor returned from a humanitarian mission in DR Congo, the same day the DRC outbreak crossed 1,000 confirmed cases. The Bundibugyo strain has no approved vaccine or treatment.
