CDC Warns of Deadly Listeria Outbreak Linked to Maryland Dairy as Case Count Climbs to 12 (opens in new tab)

The CDC issued an official warning Friday linking 12 Listeria infections across four states to soft cheese from Clover Hill Dairy of Mechanicsville, Maryland. One person has died. The outbreak has been active since March 2023, more than three years before a federal recall was ordered.
