Belarus claim 27 golds on day 1 of Belarus Open karate tournament in Minsk (opens in new tab)

More than a thousand karateka from eight countries are taking part in the tournament. On the first day of competition, competitors crowned champions in three age categories (under 17, under 20, and over 20), with 36 medal sets contested in total.
