Alternative to Samsung Messages (opens in new tab)

Everybody probably knows that Samsung Messages will be discontinued in July 2026\. I installed Fossify Messages on the phone using F-Droid to use instead of Samsung Messages\. Can I install F-Droid and/or Fossify Messages on my GW8 so messages are synced with the phone?
