Can I uninstall Samsung Calendar? (opens in new tab)

I have a samsung galaxy A01 running android 10. Can I remove samsung calendar? I want to use a lighter calendar app but I am worried that if I uninstall samsung calendar the whole OS will stop working. Can I remove samsung calendar and not damage the OS? If I replace it with a third-party app...
