Can One UI updates be blocked? And if so can this stop Samsung messages from being disabled? (opens in new tab)

Just thinking of an idea. Seems like I got the message that Samsung messages will be disabled only after installing a Beta version of One UI 8.5. My Note 10+ doesn't have a message stuck at the top of messages. How annoying.
