Can someone explain why my phone reset? (opens in new tab)

I'm using a samsung A01 with android 10. I was filling out a payment form on X browser and writing my credit card details. A notification popped up from google asking me to save the card details. I tapped "not now" and my phone reset! Right then and there before I could submit the form the phone...
