hidden apps? (opens in new tab)

using google pixel fold phone question: I have all these apps that apparently are NOT on the home screen and NOT in the "app drawer" (I just learned that word) but they are listed when I go into settings and I see the tab: "list all 200 apps." that's one way to find these so-called hidden...
