Stuck in a cloudflare verification loop (opens in new tab)

When I visit some sites I keep getting a cloudflare verification box\. I verify that I'm human and get a \"verification successful\" confirmation, but rather than the next page loading the same verification box loads again\. I keep verifying that I'm human and it keeps loading the same box which prevents me from progressing to the next page\.
