Unknown Icon at Top Right of Screen (opens in new tab)

A couple of days ago I had trouble finding my photos on my Pixel 7\. MOF, all of them had disappeared\. I got a message saying \"Empty\" when I looked for them\.At the same time I saw this icon at the top right of the screen\. What does it mean? ​ Later that day my photos reappeared, and the icon disappeared\.
