Why Doesn't my Phone Recieve Tornado Warnings? (opens in new tab)

Yesterday, my area got a tornado warning, which isn't out of the ordinary for this time of year\. My father's phone received a tornado warning and beeped loudly, but mine got nothing, not even a text\. I was told I must have emergency services or whatever blocked on my phone, but I never remember doing such a thing, nor would I want to\. I also don't know how to unblock it if I somehow do have it blocked\. The last time I remember getting any sort of warning on my phone is during the tornado\...
