Agentic AI introduces a different challenge: autonomous systems that reason, plan, and execute actions with real-world consequences. This article explores emerging risks including prompt injection, tool misuse, privilege chaining, and auditability gaps, and proposes an agentic security framework built around action authorization, behavioral baselines, reasoning transparency, and human checkpoints.
