Now Playing Octopath Traveler II (opens in new tab)
Octopath Traveler II hit store shelves three years ago this month. As a fan of the first game, I immediately bought the sequel collector's edition for Switch. Then it sat in my backlog until last weekend. I decided to jump into it — FINALLY. Within the first few minutes, I could tell it was another delicious treat of an old-school turn-based JRPG, like Final Fantasy III (VI) on the SNES. Now over seven hours in, I'm enjoying every bit of it.
