There’s a neo kid in town: MacBook Neo. Initial impressions from tech journalists are overwhelmingly positive — there’s a lot of unanimous buzz. PC laptops and Google Chromebooks are on notice. The key point is the low price of Apple’s neo laptop: $600, and better still for students at just $500. For an Apple laptop, that’s remarkable. The only cheaper Apple computer is a base iPad with a third-party keyboard/trackpad case, like what I now use.
