Unnecessary ID Verification (opens in new tab)
Discord wants my ID. Nope! Any unnecessary service that says it’s necessary to submit government ID or biometric proof of identity (whether for age or otherwise) to use the service gets discarded like a dirty diaper. That stuff stinks. I already abandoned LinkedIn for this reason. Now it’s Discord’s turn to be tossed in the dumpster.
