Argonaute 2 drives resistance to immune checkpoint inhibitors in immunorefractory non-small cell lung cancer (opens in new tab)
Immune checkpoint inhibitors are used to treat advanced non-small cell lung cancer to activate an antitumor immune response, however they fail in many patients due to resistance. This study shows that Argonaute 2 suppresses immune infiltration in lung tumors and that its deletion sensitizes tumors to immunotherapy.
