American Airlines said it will install SpaceX’s Starlink in-flight Wi-Fi on more than 500 narrowbody Airbus aircraft starting in the first quarter of 2027, including new A321XLR and A321neo deliveries. The carrier said the service is intended for domestic and short-haul international routes; its Boeing aircraft, including 737s, 787s and 777s, are not included in the announced Starlink rollout.
