GSK’s experimental hepatitis B drug bepirovirsen produced a “functional cure” in about one-fifth of treated patients in two international Phase 3 studies, researchers reported before presenting the findings at a scientific meeting in Barcelona and publishing the data in the New England Journal of Medicine.
