UK regulator raises household energy price cap 13% (opens in new tab)

Britain’s energy regulator Ofgem will raise the household energy price cap in Great Britain by 13% for July 1 through Sept. 30, lifting the annualised bill for a typical dual-fuel household to £1,862 from £1,641, an increase of £221 a year or about £18 a month.
