Britain’s energy regulator Ofgem will raise the household energy price cap in Great Britain by 13% for July 1 through Sept. 30, lifting the annualised bill for a typical dual-fuel household to £1,862 from £1,641, an increase of £221 a year or about £18 a month. The cap applies in England, Scotland and Wales and limits unit rates and standing charges for customers on default tariffs; it does not cap total bills.
