YouTube adds automatic labels for realistic AI videos (opens in new tab)

YouTube said it will automatically apply disclosure labels when its systems detect “significant photorealistic AI” in videos whose creators did not report AI use, adding automated enforcement to a policy that still requires creators to disclose realistic AI-generated or meaningfully altered content.
