President Trump said at a White House Cabinet meeting Wednesday that the Strait of Hormuz should be open to all shipping and that “nobody’s going to control it,” rejecting a reported short-term arrangement under which Iran and Oman would jointly manage or charge tolls for traffic through the waterway.
