Unauthorized personnel boarded a vessel anchored off the east coast of the United Arab Emirates on Thursday and directed it toward Iranian territorial waters, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations center said. UKMTO said the incident occurred 38 nautical miles, or about 70 kilometers, northeast of Fujairah, near the southern approach to the Strait of Hormuz.
