Eli Lilly said Tuesday it agreed to acquire Curevo Inc., LimmaTech Biologics AG and Vaccine Company Inc. in deals worth up to about $3.8 billion, expanding its vaccine and infectious-disease research portfolio. The programs include vaccines aimed at shingles, bacterial pathogens and Epstein-Barr virus, according to Lilly and reports on the agreements.
