American Airlines said it will install SpaceX's Starlink in-flight Wi-Fi on more than 500 Airbus aircraft, becoming the latest U.S. carrier to choose the satellite-internet service for onboard connectivity. The airline plans to start the deployment in the first quarter of 2027 across its Airbus narrowbody fleet, including new A321XLR and A321neo aircraft.
