Trump administration orders removal of ocean observatory sensors (opens in new tab)
The National Science Foundation has begun dismantling most of the Ocean Observatories Initiative, a U.S.-funded network of more than 900 ocean instruments that has collected real-time data for more than a decade in the Pacific and Atlantic oceans.
