Apple reportedly narrows Vision roadmap to two glasses projects (opens in new tab)
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said Apple has narrowed its Vision product roadmap from a broader lineup of headsets and glasses to two smart-glasses projects, and that incoming Apple CEO John Ternus signed off on the overhaul. Kuo said the remaining projects are display-less AI glasses expected to ship in 2027 and display-equipped AR/XR glasses using optical waveguide technology that have slipped to 2029.
