Deezer launches AI detector for rival music playlists (opens in new tab)

French music platform Deezer launched a free online tool Thursday that lets users scan playlists from about 20 streaming services, including Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music and SoundCloud, for fully AI-generated tracks. The detector is available in 27 languages and works by asking users to connect a streaming account, import playlists and review scan results.
