Belarus launches nuclear weapons drills with Russia (opens in new tab)
Belarus said Monday that its armed forces had begun joint exercises with Russian units to practice delivering nuclear munitions and preparing them for use, with missile forces and aviation taking part. The drills concern Russian nuclear weapons deployed on Belarusian territory. Minsk described the training as scheduled and said it was not directed at third countries, while Ukraine condemned the exercise.
