Humpback whales set 15,100-kilometer migration record (opens in new tab)

Scientists documented two humpback whales traveling between breeding areas in eastern Australia and Brazil, confirming record distances between sightings of individual humpback whales. The findings provide the first confirmed individual links between those breeding regions.
