Hundreds of Greenlanders demonstrated in Nuuk on Thursday, May 21, as the United States opened a new, larger consulate in Greenland's capital. Protesters carried Greenlandic flags and signs including "Greenland is not for sale," "USA, stop it" and "No means no," and chanted against U.S. control of the island.
