Hundreds of Greenlanders demonstrated in Nuuk on Thursday as U.S. diplomats opened a larger consulate in the Greenlandic capital. Protesters carried Greenland flags and signs such as “USA, stop it,” “We are not for sale” and “Greenland belongs to Greenlanders”.
