Nearly 300 migrants detained at Delaney Hall in Newark, New Jersey, began a hunger and work strike Friday to protest conditions inside the ICE detention facility, complaining of spoiled food, lack of medical care, threats against detainees, overcrowding and unsanitary conditions.
