China curbs exports to 10 US defense firms (opens in new tab)
China on June 22 added 10 U.S. companies tied to defense, drones, aerospace and rare earths to its export control list, barring exports to them of Chinese-origin dual-use items and ordering covered ongoing export activity to stop immediately. The Commerce Ministry said the measure aimed to safeguard national security and respond to Washington’s expansion of its list of Chinese military companies.
