Oracle cuts 21,000 jobs during AI buildout (opens in new tab)
Oracle said its global full-time workforce fell to 141,000 as of May 31, 2026, from about 162,000 a year earlier, a reduction of roughly 21,000 jobs, or 13%, during its fiscal year. In its annual regulatory filing, Oracle said AI adoption has contributed to workforce reductions and may continue to do so.
