Alan Greenspan, the former U.S. Federal Reserve chairman who guided monetary policy from August 1987 to January 2006, died Monday at age 100, his wife, Andrea Mitchell, said. Mitchell said he died at home from complications of Parkinson’s disease. Greenspan served under Presidents Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, Bill Clinton and George W.
