China's LineShine supercomputer, installed at the National Supercomputing Center in Shenzhen, took first place in the June 2026 TOP500 ranking announced at the International Supercomputing Conference in Hamburg, Germany, displacing the U.S. El Capitan system at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.
